T Paul suggested this, and I've seen some fun results on PBase -- let's see what we can do. :)

NO Voting pressure on this challenge -- Just take photos of objects (not signs) that form letters. IF YOU WANT to do more, then put them together to spell your name or some meaningful word. There are many possibilities out there. Look at architectural elements, wrought-iron scrollwork, and objects of nature for starters.

If you want some ideas to get started, look at these PBase links:

I thought i would give this a whirl, the possibilities are endless and will probaly drive me nuts in the end forever "looking"
Camera info is a little (cheap) point and shoot set to auto ( tell i am not that good at this can't you ?) but it keeps me happy and out of mischief !

Hope this is what was meant, done for fun not prowess with a camera   ( although will listen to any advice given )

WOW Palms, you actually spelled something. In my book, means you get extra points for creativity and imagination. Thumbs up.

Palms -- very creative -- I had to crane my neck to see what your "D" was "in real life" ;) Isn't it fascinating what we see differently when we ask our brain to look for something in a different way! BTW, no need to worry about your point & shoot or "auto" setting -- we all know that the camera is just there to capture the picture AFTER the real work is done -- SEEING an image is the real stuff of photography -- that is what takes creativity, openness to different layers of reality, patience, persistence, and an enjoyment of your subject.

Thanks for starting this new game off with variety and creativity -- you're a DOLL! :)

Thank you Janet and CJ for the encouragement it was fun although i went with the idea of doing cat ! The "D" is the back of a half pot ( to go on the wall ) for the garden, If there are no restricitons will have another go soon have found a good X

Nice to see U. ;)
Did you go out looking for letters, or did you just notice it while out shooting "in general"? Nice catch!

Sorry just the one letter this time :) Palms

There's only room for one letter when you find one THAT big! ;) Good catch!

Thank U. :)

I noticed the nice lines, shapes, etc. before I noticed the U. I wish someone could tell me what it actually is used for. It was attached to an old covered wagon.

when i saw what u were doing here i immediately thought...how cute to do this and frame it up all pretty....then last night i was watching The Big Idea with Donny Deutsche on CNBC and they had a guest on that has made millions basically doing the same thing.....it's a great idea and so cute and simple.... here's their website www.createsticksandstones.com (http://www.createsticksandstones.com) anyway...it's worth a look...u can even put in the word u want spelled and choose which letters to use and see how it looks...very cute...hope u enjoy...i'm definately going to go letter hunting when i have a chance!
