I'm sure everyone has a different solution to putting their work online. Some don't care if it's framed with someone else's site, some might. Where/how do you put your work online? How easy is it, how much does it cost, what would you prefer, etc.?

Photobucket.. Free. Easy as pie. They also accept up to 5 minute videos. They make linking images/videos to forums or web sites very easy. Once you get the photo uploaded, you can name it, then click on it and you are offered 3 options for HTML linking. It copies the HTML code to your computer clipboard for pasting into the message or email you want.

Most work similarly. pPhoto is another service, flikker, etc.

Aren't photobucket and flickr more for image hosting, rather than for portfolios? Would you feel comfortable giving a potential client or employer a photobucket or flickr address to see your work?

Doug.. for simple imbedding into forums such as NAPP I use Photobucket, but I probably wouldn't use it for professional viewing. For that I would set up my own web site with galleries and skip the host altogether. I know a lot of professionals us pphoto.com and it does have some great features for artists and photographers. It is a pay service, but very reasonable.

I don't think pphoto.com is a working site. At least it doesn't look like one.
