hi,
I've need some nice sea bottom effects. Like what you see in the bottom of a swimming pool too. I'm been looking for a tutorial that works, and is realistic. and works at 4368 x 2912 resolution.
can anyone help...
tony
Take a look at this weeks Photoshop TV on the NAPP site, there is a tut there on a underwater look.

a coral reef. You can get all sorts of great effects with this tut.

This one I used the Water Reflection Action in Photoshop Default Actions. You might find it useful for a pool.

Here is an image I'd like to create in photoshop.
would be quite hard to do .. but I like to have a top down view of the sea bed.

Don't know if this will help but you should be able to figure out a way to make the thin highlight reflection lines with this tut. He's creating lightning but it could be similar. Give the movie awhile to download.
