can anyone surgest a place I can download images of new york, and other cities... that are old vintage look. city views, streets, sky lines.

for starters any place. even stock photos. But I would like copyright free too... at some point.

Type in "New York" and hit Search, then Preview Images. The thumbnails with blue outlines are downloadable. Most are too lowrez (especially the black and white ones) but many of the sepia/offwhite ones are high resolution. Obviously other search terms can also be used ("empire state" "manhattan", etc.)

Wow. That's a neat site. Is there a way to only search for jpegs or tiffs? Have looked around, but haven't found that option yet. Will look some more. Thanks for sharing!
