Just a quick Hello. I'm a Spanish teacher with photography as a hobby.
I use a Nikon D80 which I got last year for my birthday and so far only Elements 5 as my photo editing software but I'm considering moving up to CS2 or 3 ( it may be my next birthday present).
I'm looking forward to learning a lot from all the experience in this forum.

Hi, Helen. Here I am in south Florida and my Spanglish is horrible. I admire bilungual folks. :-) Welcome aboard. You do have some wonderful photo ops in the Atlanta area. Hope you will share some with us in the Photo Art thread. We love to turn photos into Artwork so bring on those moss covered oaks and lovely magnolia trees! LOL

Elements 5 is a very capable program. Don't feel rushed into Photoshop CSx unless you feel Elements is holding you back.

Like Swampy said, take advantage of the many photo ops in your beautiful part of the country.
