haha you really think its crappy?..... I would love to see some of your retouching  HAHAHA. YES. SOME OF IT IS AWFUL.
Are you working for/with them or something? Look again. Blotchy crap with horrid color. There is a reason I've never heard of them before even though they are in nyc methinks.. Swampy 05-26-2007, 06:14 PM I gotta agree with Ant. I've seen better. KR1156 05-26-2007, 07:20 PM i like conraddigital.com's style...very clean and natural. great color. anonimo 05-26-2007, 10:07 PM HAHAHA. YES. SOME OF IT IS AWFUL.

/megl CelSul 06-01-2007, 12:18 PM I'll agree with everyone about digitalretouch.com.... but they obviously have a nice sized clientele list or they wouldn't still be around. You want to see a good site... go to christarantino.com. I love that before/after slide. Good work! Calvinhollywood 06-26-2007, 06:29 AM Heya

I was just going to say, they seem to only adjust the color in the photos. stevek 07-10-2007, 04:30 AM I have to agree - the work at Digital Retouch is fairly heavy-handed and generally quite inconsistent.
The work of both Chris Tarantino and Conrad represents the kind of skill level and attention to detail that I would hope to aspire to.
Also - currently my favourite - the totally awesome work being done by Carrie Beene and Otto Imaging in NYC.

If my work was half as good as hers I would be a happy retoucher.
BTW: the term 'Celebrity Retouchers'... does that mean 'Retouchers of pictures of celebrities' or 'Retouchers who are themselves celebrities'? Either way it's a pretty crass term, and since almost all retouching goes un-credited, how can a retoucher ever become a celebrity? Furthermore, surely the nature of celebrity itself precludes the promotion (or even mention) of retouching in the first place.
Correct me if I'm wrong. ogphoto 07-12-2007, 12:43 PM I like some of the work of

Besides that, the site takes forever to load! pixel_monkey 07-13-2007, 06:04 PM Besides that, the site takes forever to load!
I thought I'm the only one that thinks that website is terrible, especially for a company that has a huge clientele. I actually left the site when I first encountered with that unnecessary intro screen. I only revisited after I saw the comments made by some of you. |
