Howdy folks,

My images don't stand-up to most of the work I've seen here, but I'm trying to improve and I'd appreciate any suggestions. I took photos of the Mrs a couple of nights ago, and I've been working on these two images:

btw, I'm thick skinned (and hard-headed)

Thanks!
Jay

Over all nice work. On the first one, I would soften up the creases around her mouth and lighten the "mustache" effect over her upper lip. I find the eyes a little soft in this version.

In the second one, the large catch lights are over powering. I like the bluring on this one better.

Thank you, Swampy. Kept your comments in mind as I worked on tonight's image. For this one, I did more to decrease the laugh lines. Also, lots of effort on the eyes to cut the size of the catchlights in half. Next time I shoot, I'll pay a LOT more attention to the catchlights. Fixing it afterwards is tedius and tricky. If you care to take a look...

I like your works !

I try to reduce some of her wrinkles to make her looks younger.

Dont know if you will like it or not .

I like the over all look you are getting. In the second posse the angle and expression are great.
the skin may be a little soft.
