Folks,

I need help desperately. I have two photos of a friend I need to PP fast in one very silly way (OK I think it's silly but she doesn't). Since I'm brand new in Photoshop & don't have time to learn the entire program to do this adjustment I was/am hoping for fast help with this.

I need to remove her dark roots, that's the hair roots, on the top of her hair. That's what she gets for dyeing her hair. But since the shots show the top of her head & she's desperate for the shots.....

How do I do this? I just downloaded Photoshop CS3 off the web & am on my first day of my 30 day trial. I've picked up the color & I'm trying to replace & it looks horrible, I'm dealing with hair strands....

Does anyone have an easy way to do this I can try?

Thanks,

Lil

It is not uncommon for there to be multiple approaches using Photoshop to solve a generic problem, e.g., recoloring hair. The best approach in a given situation can be image dependent.

Upload and attach the section of the image you're working on so members can take a look. (See link below my sig.)

In the mean time here's a link to a tutorial I found by Google search on photoshop tutorial change hair color
