Peter lkroll 06-23-2007, 06:36 PM Cool capture for play Peter. Simple flow here. Used Toadies Metalwork set to Overlay (duplicate layer of course) for the bulk of the aniso. I then followed it up with Xero's Supersmooth filter. Here (http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/9020/oucxqx6u2118rp8mg7.jpg)'s the full hirez version. Attached is a lower quality reduced size version. :) palms1 06-24-2007, 03:58 AM Now that is some hair, looking forward to having a go later
Palms pavel123 06-24-2007, 06:49 AM Peter, thank you for another great photo. Love you sketch.
Blenders in Painter, IMP in Photoshop.
Palms, I don't think I share your passion for hair. Not after manually going through all those curls.
Pavel keiser 06-24-2007, 09:13 AM here is mine

bas relief Nice work all. I couldn't resist spending some time with her too. palms1 06-24-2007, 01:40 PM Great works everyone
Pavel the hair isnt to bad and helps pass away our awful weather
Couldnt make my mind up about a colour version or a black & white I did try a threshold as i think it would look good but lost patience with it a bit
Palms Photomaster 06-24-2007, 03:27 PM Fun picture to work with. Painted in Corel Painter using the Thick Wet Oils brush. Finished in Photoshop CS2 with highlights and shadows and color adjustment and sharpening. Steve Conway 06-25-2007, 09:45 AM Now that's a real "do."
Steve C. Peter S 06-26-2007, 02:51 PM lkroll - that has to be one of your best to date :bigthmb:
Pavel - nice work hope the curls didn't cause too much strain on the brush hand:wink:
keiser - Looks good, but a little on the small size to see properly
Lonk - can I look over your shoulder next time you do one of these :knockedou
Palms - Very nice, I prefer the colour one, more detail, I'm a detail freak at times.
Photomaster - as ever excellent, maybe I could watch you at work as well
Steve - what can I say to that, its real smooth man, like it.
You see the curls wern't that bad after all!
Peter lkroll 06-26-2007, 05:35 PM Thanks for the comment Peter; glad you liked it. :) keiser 06-27-2007, 08:03 AM sorry it was too small to see it.

Now thats better. I need all the help I can get with my eyes nowadays.
Peter Kraellin 07-05-2007, 09:06 PM wow. lonk, that is absolutely amazing. love photomaster's and steve's too. lots of others done well also, but just had to comment on those three. Thanks, Craig. Very kind of you. Peter S 04-07-2008, 03:16 PM I sort of goaded Palms into doing a smudge of this one, and a good job of it was done. So I had to try in myself (better late than never).
Its a little rough, but I think I'm getting there a little.
Thanks Palms, I know now what you went through with this one.

Nice one Peter, great work on the face and hair, looking back on mine i dont think it was a smudge, as such but c springers illustrated look ( which involves some smudging ) might have to have another go soon )
Palms DannyRaphael 04-08-2008, 10:00 AM I always liked this one...
I started with Mike Warren's Illustration Action, then applied some Impressionist plugin effects and ePaperpress.com actions for the borders. mikajomc 04-10-2008, 10:10 AM Danny- you are definitely the Action King! Love it! palms1 04-10-2008, 11:03 AM I always liked this one...

I did a watercolor,
3 layers in Photoshop with different presets form a Filter Forge filter I'm working on, just masked out what I didn't want. palms1 04-13-2008, 03:58 AM Palms, I like the color, the rich colors are so pretty.
