Natalia mellyrose 06-28-2007, 09:05 PM Wow, that's fantastic! The texture on the face looks amazing and I love what you did with the hair...the only thing that is throwing me off a bit is the texture on her back. The rest is perfect. great skin, the highlight at her nose a bit yellowish than other or seem to me at my monitor
saby Gary Richardson 06-29-2007, 01:47 AM The yellow on her nose and lip don't sit quite right with me, but otherwise an excellent piece of work. I love the new lighting, much more dramatic.
Nice work keeping the skin texture, I hate it when that's overdone. Gary Richardson 06-29-2007, 09:22 AM Deleted by request. KR1156 06-29-2007, 11:45 AM cant tell too much on the lowrez file, but the face and hair look pretty nice to me. looks like you stoped degrunging?
just something about that texture on the back that bothers me, my eye keeps going towards it, just doesn't look natural. but i see you were trying to keep the skin texture on her back, but maybe tone it down as focus fades off from her right shoulder towards her left.
did you sharpen the overall image maybe, is that what brought that back texture out so much?
*one other thing, i personally would get rid of that orange patch of skintone on her back and give her one continous skintone thorughout her back. KR1156 06-29-2007, 12:39 PM ohh cool, i was thinking maybe it was makeup on her back after i wrote that!
-you didnt answer question....did you stop degrunging?!? Looks pretty good.

Thanks, good pointers.
I think one should never start and finish a job in the same day, after a couple of hours, the mind just doesn't see some thins :)
Thanks again Ant, you've changed a lot in the past few months, in a good way. Godmother 06-29-2007, 04:55 PM ohh cool, i was thinking maybe it was makeup on her back after i wrote that!

no, I use that technique (Actually, my own but it's basically similar, it also used the high pass but with mask... anyway...) some times, not all clients pay for hours of work :) | |
