Thanks Swampy 07-16-2007, 10:19 AM Louie, you might start by posting a larger version of the photo. Working or evaluating a 2 inch wide photo is not easy, nor is it fun. If you use Photoshop, use Save for Web to adjust the dimensions and file size (max 100k). DCobb 07-16-2007, 11:10 AM Swampy is correct. To get a quality retouch a larger image will be needed. This is just a quick attempt to give you a little idea of what can be done. dc Ziaphra 07-16-2007, 01:29 PM Sweet little thing! :) LouieM414 07-16-2007, 11:01 PM Swampy, I'm sorry for the small pic. I'm new to this. Thanks for the info on resizing. I have attached another one. LouieM414 07-16-2007, 11:04 PM Sweet little thing! :) That is amazing!!! I wish I would have had the larger image for you to work with. Sorry about that. Swampy told me how to upload a larger image and I did. Now the important question......How did you do that? LOL. Can you point me to some reading material or videos I can get to learn how to restore and retouch like that? DCobb 07-17-2007, 12:47 AM Went back and gave it a second try with the larger picture. Much more detail with which to work. Not sure that the color is correct for the skin, eyes, and hair. dc Ziaphra 07-17-2007, 02:09 AM Nice work DCobb! Just a matter of careful cloning Louie and smudging to blend it all in. ;) DCobb 07-17-2007, 03:00 PM Ziaphra- Thank you for your kind remarks. dc chillin 07-18-2007, 02:06 AM - cleaning -red channel lowered brightness & enhanced contrast -color balance -hue/saturation - Portraiture just a bit for smoothing - and at last high pass filter 1.7 at 42% opacity LouieM414 07-18-2007, 04:30 PM All of you do amazing work. Now I need to start practicing. |
