Hi,

Can anyone please tell me a website(s) where I can buy high-res images that need to be retouched? I am interested in more jewelry, cutlery and models. I tried many stock photo websites, but all of them have the images that are already retouched.

I need these images to play around with and build up the portfolio.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I suspect he was posting to subscribe to this thread, so he'd be emailed with updates. He could have simply chosen Subscribe from the Thread Tools menu.

You may try the free www.sxc.hu that has more low end images.

Thanks for the website, but I already checked that and couldn't find any good pics. Can you recemmond me any other website please? I used to know one website where I could buy images for retouching, but I don't have that URL anymore.

Check out www.retouchpro.com, they have a forum section and in there look for a post by "Jasz". It's a thread with like 20-30 RAW files in there.

It's quite cool and uncommon that someone will give you random RAW files to work with, so I really would suggest you grab those.

DJSoulglo, Thanks for your post. I am already aware of that. but that post only has models. If you look at my original post, I am asking more for jewelry. I took a few models from that post. Thanks for that. But i still need jewelry, which is the main reason.

Join up and its free images. Not the best stuff around, but it hasn't been retouched. Most image library sites have all there content already retouched. Some of it is shocking. You don't want to be retouching a retouch.
