I have two copies of Photoshop Elements 3.0. One came with my Win XP Fujitsu pc and the other with my Epson V700 scanner.
I have never used the Text Tool with the copy installed on my Fujitsu (this is from the disk that came with machine). I have used the text tool on another Win XP machine, I have, as well as on my Win XP laptop. This other machine and my laptop were both installed from the disk that came from the Epson.
Today I tried to use the Fujitsu Photoshop Elements 3 Text Tool. Photoshop Elements 3 froze. Task Manager was required to shut it down.
So I first tried trashing the Prefs; no go. Then Uninstalled Photoshop Elements 3 and reinstalled making sure my AVG antivirus was off.
I had to do this twice as Photoshop Elements still crashed on the Text Tool whether installed from either disk.
I do notice that when I open the fonts on the Text Tool that some fonts do not appear in Control Panel > Fonts e.g
Terminal
Times New Roman Photoshop MT
Mind you they don't appear in Control Panel > Fonts on the working machines either.
Other tools appear to work correctly.
Can anyone please advise
