A newsletter that I produce is going to full colour and the printer requires the pictures in cmyk, which I can't do currently.

I am thinking of buying Photoshop Elements 5 but I understand it doesn't have a cmyk conversion facility. Can I achieve this with PE plus a Hidden Power tool - if so, which one?

Or is there another relatively inexpensive way to achieve what I need?

Converting to CMYK can be problematic, even for users of the full Photoshop version. Most printers I've worked with prefer doing their own conversion from RGB. Have you asked to see if they can do this?

Hidden Power Tools can do the conversion, but don't solve the problematic nature. If you buy the version that matches your Elements version it should be clearly marked. I don't know if there is a version for Elements 5.
