Hi folks,

here is another pic i made a few weeks ago.

I did some beauty retouch (skin,blemishes etc.) but maybe you have some ideas what to make with that picture.... i would like to see some artistical work :)

I hope you like the pic...

feel free to play with and post it back to this thread

You did an especially good job on the eyes, Novi. I liked how you added emphasis with subtle blurring in other areas.

On my interpretation I used a Photoshop action to manipulate the background and isolated her lovely face with such great eyes onto a separate layer.

On #2 I used variations of the Impressionist plugin's Charcoal > Default preset for the background and Akvis Sketch plugin to restore some detail.

In Photoshop:
Used "Mike Warren's Illustration V3" Action;
Sarsa's Hair Brushes;
Linda's Smudge Brush;
Dodge and Burn;
USM;
Canvas Texture selectively applied with Layer Mask.

Used Double Difference (blur center layer) and desaturated result. I then used Xero's Abstractor (been playing a lot with this gem lately). Some clean up work at the end. :)

A painted version from me as well.

Quality took a bashing, so here's a link to a higher res copy:-

Wasn't sure how this one would turn out, but I think it turned out nicely. I retouched it entirely before creating a painterly version of it.
