...feel free to play with and post it back to this thread. NoviI moved your thread to this forum for better visibility. DannyRaphael 08-03-2007, 12:48 AM You did an especially good job on the eyes, Novi. I liked how you added emphasis with subtle blurring in other areas.
On my interpretation I used a Photoshop action to manipulate the background and isolated her lovely face with such great eyes onto a separate layer. DannyRaphael 08-03-2007, 01:12 AM On #2 I used variations of the Impressionist plugin's Charcoal > Default preset for the background and Akvis Sketch plugin to restore some detail. ruud92 08-03-2007, 05:28 AM Hey, i did some more retouch work with this picture, im not realy good in making pictures artistical looking.. but hope you like. pellepiano 08-03-2007, 06:04 AM Beautiful girl and nice photo. I smudged her a little.

Dodge and Burn, added eyelashes, Photo Filter to warm it all up, Changed background, added lens flare. Hope you like it. sylvia1065 08-03-2007, 11:50 AM Hi Novi,
I hope you don't mind I painted you a bit... :grin:
Sylvia Steve Conway 08-03-2007, 01:57 PM Another nice photo.
Steve C. Photomaster 08-04-2007, 12:31 AM In Photoshop:
Used "Mike Warren's Illustration V3" Action;
Sarsa's Hair Brushes;
Linda's Smudge Brush;
Dodge and Burn;
USM;
Canvas Texture selectively applied with Layer Mask. keiser 08-04-2007, 09:53 AM here is mine
based on trimoon sketch lkroll 08-04-2007, 11:54 AM Used Double Difference (blur center layer) and desaturated result. I then used Xero's Abstractor (been playing a lot with this gem lately). Some clean up work at the end. :) Gilbert 08-05-2007, 05:16 AM paintered and Photoshop'd for resizing lkroll 08-05-2007, 12:10 PM You definitely have your smudging technique down Gilbert. I Like it. :) Photomaster 08-05-2007, 04:02 PM Gilbert, very nice job.
Here's another version:
Smudged;
Snap Art Oil filter;
Smart Sharpen;
Texture added. Peter S 08-05-2007, 04:57 PM A painted version from me as well.
Quality took a bashing, so here's a link to a higher res copy:-

Peter MadChapelier 08-08-2007, 07:25 AM Wasn't sure how this one would turn out, but I think it turned out nicely. I retouched it entirely before creating a painterly version of it. |
