Thought some of you would enjoy working on this one. He kind of reminds me of "me" -- about 35 years ago. (In my dreams, of course. :) )

Have fun...

Thanks for the pic.

Trying for a 'brushy' look, not my preferred style, I usually go for a smoother more blended finish but that wouldn't have suited this picture IMO

...NOT. LOL

Did have some hair in a past life though. Anyway, I combined MW's Sketch action with Impressionist (James Brown pencil preset) for this one. :)

Based mostly on the PencilPixels One Click Stylized Poster Art action plus a dose of Photoshop lighting effects.

Of course, I was younger when this picture was taken.

...so was Danny, so was Peter......... :bigthmb:

GOLDCOIN: I really like the exaggerated version.

Went for that "rugged" look.

I couldn't resist the hunk.
I used smart blur to soften and make more like a watercolor, then I used Lucis Art Whyeth and Sculpture to enhance. I used the smudge tool with a watercolor brush to smooth out some areas. I used hue/sat to bring up color, and a layer of paint dabs set to soft light for visual texture. I finished up with some paper texture.

Thanks, Craig. Glad you like it. Nope, I don't have painter (or Photoshop for that matter). This was done in my usual editor: good old, cheap, but capable, PhotoImpact 8.
