Thought some of you would enjoy working on this one. He kind of reminds me of "me" -- about 35 years ago. (In my dreams, of course. :) )

Peter Gilbert 08-19-2007, 05:25 AM Trying for a 'brushy' look, not my preferred style, I usually go for a smoother more blended finish but that wouldn't have suited this picture IMO Steve Conway 08-19-2007, 09:06 AM Sketch of a hunk....or a hunk of a sketch...or a............Oh well here 'tis. Steve C. lkroll 08-19-2007, 12:38 PM ...NOT. LOL Did have some hair in a past life though. Anyway, I combined MW's Sketch action with Impressionist (James Brown pencil preset) for this one. :) palms1 08-19-2007, 03:37 PM Well Gents i am hoping he will be in my dreams  Palms Alison 08-21-2007, 03:34 AM Couldn't refuse a go at this one ;) GOLDCOIN 08-21-2007, 11:40 AM Experiementing....looking for a great pencil effect Here's the pencil version http://www.pbase.com/goldcoin/image/84267404/small.jpg (http://www.pbase.com/goldcoin/image/84267404/original) These are the colored versions... http://www.pbase.com/goldcoin/image/84267857/small.jpg (http://www.pbase.com/goldcoin/image/84267857/original) A bit more exaggerated... http://www.pbase.com/goldcoin/image/84268058/small.jpg (http://www.pbase.com/goldcoin/image/84268058/original) DannyRaphael 08-21-2007, 01:15 PM Based mostly on the PencilPixels One Click Stylized Poster Art action plus a dose of Photoshop lighting effects. sylvia1065 08-23-2007, 08:51 PM He is not too bad looking  Sylvia byRo 09-01-2007, 03:40 PM Of course, I was younger when this picture was taken. ...so was Danny, so was Peter......... :bigthmb: GOLDCOIN: I really like the exaggerated version. Rô LonK 09-01-2007, 09:10 PM Went for that "rugged" look. cazubi 09-01-2007, 10:42 PM I couldn't resist the hunk. I used smart blur to soften and make more like a watercolor, then I used Lucis Art Whyeth and Sculpture to enhance. I used the smudge tool with a watercolor brush to smooth out some areas. I used hue/sat to bring up color, and a layer of paint dabs set to soft light for visual texture. I finished up with some paper texture. Cathy LonK 09-01-2007, 10:45 PM Very nice, Cathy. Lots of character! Kraellin 09-03-2007, 10:51 PM lonk, that is excellent! was that done in painter? LonK 09-04-2007, 07:54 AM Thanks, Craig. Glad you like it. Nope, I don't have painter (or Photoshop for that matter). This was done in my usual editor: good old, cheap, but capable, PhotoImpact 8. ahutton 09-14-2007, 05:58 PM I like hunks...
