Well, so far I didn't have jewelry in my portfolio. Now I have.

All the work I do, I do in the first place for myself. Thats how I learn and understand things!

That's fair. I sure have done it many times. Have you found out if you had permission to use them in your portfolio, though?

Gee, with 2500 images I don't think I cut it. The ring took a couple of hours but that was the more extreme case. The bracelet took a lot less. By the way some time could be saved in retouching if your sensor was clean.
