I want to say hi and hope to learn how to restore some of my old old photos to use in genealogy work. I can clean up the background, crop, and take out unwanted parts, but I can not make my photograph nice and clear. The image edges seems to blend right into the background.

Hopefully, I can learn lots of new things from you guys.
