Now get your brushes out and start painting! LOL palms1 09-03-2007, 01:49 PM I have got to agree with you Swampy that is one very cute colt ( sounds as if i know dosent it !!! but i dont, there was a clue in the title, I would of said pony ! but hey i am a townie/city girl) :) Palms Swampy 09-03-2007, 02:36 PM Oh, Palms... That is really nice!! You set him free by taking out the fence! lkroll 09-03-2007, 07:17 PM Been on an oil binge of late, so I thought I would try a few tricks for this one too. I used Paint Engine with Artic preset (some selective cleaning) to start things off. I then blended in Eye Candy Jiggle and canvas (varying degrees of canvas based on brighteness tones). I finally copied the original and did an edge detect that I set to darken and blended that in too (selectively) to give that pre-sketch look that most paintings start out with. :) Gilbert 09-03-2007, 07:31 PM My wife had a good laugh when she saw this..........feel free to join her, i never could draw horses, no change there then. Palms yours I like and it is sure to win races later on, it is soooo streamlined. Swampy 09-03-2007, 09:41 PM lkrol... wonderful combination of tecnhiques. Love all the texture and brush movement. Heeehee Awrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! I saw that too, and left it 'cause I was in a hurry. Should have known "Ole Eagle Eye" would spot it. In case you haven't figured out why it was left, I painted over the first one I posted, (after saving it, of course). Not planning to head to horse farm country any time soon. But I am going down to Polk county in a day or two. If I can stand the heat, I may go over to Bok Tower and Cypress Gardens. Don't know yet. Steve C.
