View Full Version : Eyelashes Video Tutorial AdamZx3 09-04-2007, 10:12 PM I stumbled across this 3 part video tutorial that uses eye lashes on a psd layer...I'm going to try it out with the free eyelash brushes on here and just stamp onto a separate layer and separate them like the video.
Part one:

The parts 2+3 can be found at the right of the video...marked accordingly.
Hope this helps some people I thought it was a pretty cool series...kinda pricey for the set but the variety makes it pretty reasonable. Very good! Thanks for sharing! dmrdm 09-05-2007, 01:32 PM Interesting. I used the ones ruud92 had on this site with good success (did use them in 4ths):

Yea after watching it again I can see your point :) they do look pretty fake, though ive seen worse lol. What do they do in high end stuff where the lashes are not thick enough/long enough, do they just copy a layer of what they already have? cricket1961 09-14-2007, 09:44 PM We create a brush for each lash we need to make. Tedious but effective.
Chris Insensitive. 09-25-2007, 08:38 PM She is actually charging money for those lashes. It is so much easier just to download BETTER looking brushes from deviant art. Its crazy how people can make money buy charging others for simple things like lashes. MatthewMarshall 09-26-2007, 01:03 AM when i make my new website i will pute a link to my eyebrow and eyelash brushes for free, for you all. they are taken from real photos they are as real as yo can get. weenerdogg 09-26-2007, 01:05 AM She is actually charging money for those lashes. Hey I was considering it before I googled it and realized how many great brushes there are out there that are free of charge. Ankh1 09-26-2007, 03:05 AM That photoshopmama ticks me off, she charges money for such lil stupid things, like 'digital makeup' - lol, Oh well, good for her if she's making allot of money from it! Insensitive. 09-26-2007, 05:25 PM I know right. Photoshop mama's powder. I was like OMG. She is ripping these people off!!! weenerdogg 09-26-2007, 08:12 PM Well the deal is alot of us don't know how to do those things on our own and it sounds attractive. People are bound to try to make money at it. I like her tutes since they are very indepth and even tell you how to do things a different way, at times. There are about a million ways to do one thing in photoshop sometimes. If it is too obvious you can skip past it, which I do sometimes. My issue is that if you don't know how to do these things without her "powder", etc. (which I don't) it all basically boils down to an infomercial since you have to have her items to do what she is doing :) superkoax 09-27-2007, 03:07 AM when i make my new website i will pute a link to my eyebrow and eyelash brushes for free, for you all. they are taken from real photos they are as real as yo can get.
Thank you! very nice of you to share with us!

Well, watching her tutorial on using the powder really was the first time I saw a video tutorial on photoshop and the techniques that she used really made things so much easier. You could actually use her video to learn and used another product or your own softner. I bought her powder when it was introduced for $5.00. I really don't think too many people know how to get the look her powder gives the skin. That video is still the best makeover video that I've seen as far as teaching the techniques.
She was a member here btw. That's how I first found her site and her tutorials. |
