I have just installed the software from the book on Windows XP. I started using the shape from text effect so that I could place individual letters around a shape. It worked fine at first but now when I try it I get a message saying "The command "Make" is not currently available". I click continue and it says that outlines have been created from text but nothing has happened. Any ideas please? I have restarted Elements 4 a couple of times to see if tha would work but no different.

If you convert the type once, you will not be able to do it a second time as it is already converted. Can you post samples of what you are trying to do?
