Looks good, except the hummer is bothering me, the perspective is off, it looks too high and tilted forward. Too me it looks like the camera height is higher in the car picture than the camera height in the finished piece, showing more of the hood of the car than you'd normally see, especially being jacked up. I would also tweak the lighting of the car so its a little darker, more contrasty but that just a personal preference thing.

Great concept!

ps I also love your Anglo Irish bank design, very visual

cheers adam

I've had a few comments about the hummer, unfortunately it was the only good shot i could find at the time. I will continue the search and touch up the image.
cheers for the feedback

no prob, I know it can be hard finding good car pictures. Try googling hummer h2 wallpaper etc.. I found this one here
http://www.desktopmachine.com/framepic.php?id=7994&size=w1920

Not the h2, but it had a good angle, just remember to keep the car darkened since it is under that dark bridge, and it needs shadowing under the car, I did mine with a black brush and reduced opacity and slowly built it up. Hope you don't mind I tried out the H3 hummer , a very crude chop but just spent a couple mins on it. The reflections (or lack of) on the h2 I put in dont really match the enviroment.

Also you might want to try and clone out those white spots beside his head, neck shoulder area, their a bit distracting.

P.S. my last post is wrote P.S. without the periods and it turned it into photoshop automatically haha

*edit*
Oh just found this one, would work well I think once you fix the white balance.

I have removed the hummer with a Esclade that fits better with the scene http://www.intrigue.ie/images/work/thug_zoom.jpg

Wow much better :) That escalade "fits" really nice!

I don't mean to be too picky but I really think the escalade should be darker to match the environment, and it needs a wee bit of shadowing underneath on the pavement as well as the inside of the tire. I used a D/B layer for the car and then added a bit to his jacket with the color burn and color dodge layers, I think his jacket looks fine but I was experimenting a bit more contrast on the jacket.

Also "Thugs" love window tint so dark that you cant see through it (like limo tint) It might be a realistic touch to darken the side windows.

Hope this helps and congrats on the image I really like it!

BTW I just previewed it and its a lot lighter in firefox than if viewed in preview or photoshop...I hope this is fixed in the new firefox 3 / safari 3 ...arrr :)
