I thought I should post this frog picture. It's an antidote for flower fatigue. No flowers except for one weed.
For Steve-it's an American bullfrog. He (or she) is about 3 years old, not counting the tadpole years. He's been hanging around our lily pond every summer, which is great, except when he "sings" in the middle of the night. Really a pretty nice guy, though. Eats a lot of bugs.

We have a pond just across from our house and those little devils can make enough noise to drown out NY City traffic, especially after a rain storm.

Seems the smaller they are the more noise they make. :)

The frog would be huge if it was in my garden there have been loads of slugs and snails for him to have eaten this year and they themselves were huge becuse they ate all my plants, :depressed
Thanks for the photo Shari and waking up the other pair

He's out there croaking right now, probably got an inkling he's online and bragging to the others. I'm still playing with borders and textures, so here's my version.

OK so Palms now wants me to look for pics of slugs and snails being eaten by frogs.
Is there no end to this.:aghast:
