Here's an old picture of my gran. As you can see, it's much yellowed and marked from the frame it was in.
And here's my attempt at restoration.
Should I give up my day job? Your thoughts please.

Ben, you've done a great job with the original and the new presentation. However, I find the spot light somewhat blinding around the woman's face - its 100%. I would have toned it down somewhat.

Yes, I see what you mean.
I decided to apply a vignette rather than having a large blank space behind the subject. I experimented with various backdrops but now maybe I'll take it back to a plain background.

ya mistermonday is right, i think jsut a off white color with out the vignette would look much better, great job on the cleaning up of the image
