"Lots of sky" in this one, but a pretty shot nonetheless...

Sort of a watercolor on canvas. Agree that sky was too much, so I reduced the size using GIMP Liquid Rescale filter. :)

the only thing I used was Colored Foil, thought it was neat how the sky turned out.:aghast:

Cropped out a lot of sky and water, then went for Drama . . .

Lovely image, Palms. I'd frame and hang that one too . . .

I've been playing with this for quite a while now, originally intending to end up with a nice, sharp, b&w sketch, but... I got sidetracked, playing with the ahb and this is what I ended up with.

I love the drama in yours, Carole. Palms, I agree with Carole that yours is frame-and-hang worthy. Summerz, colored foil looks like it would be fun to work with. Lk, that is really nice; at first I didn't click on the link to the full version and didn't get the full effect by viewing the smaller one.

DannyRaphael: I love the sense of space and stillness in your creation. The horizon slopes a little but I can forgive that, considering the earthquakes you folks are subjected to :)

Beautifully done.

JohnThanks for your kind words, but not "my" picture. It's one from the "Stock Exchange" site. (See link in the first post.)

re: Horizons slope due to earthquakes, etc.

True enough...
and frequent cups of strong coffee, too. :)
