Hello Forum,

my name is Arvodan. I'm new to this forum and to photo retouching and manipulating.
I've started with retouching a few months ago, as I've tried to remove some red-eye effects from private pictures. I found out that this is a very interesting thing, so I spend some part of my rare spare time retouching photos.

This site seems to have a lot of helpfull information and a nice community, so I've decided to register.

I'm student of Computer Sciences but I don't have experience with this graphics things. I'm also using "The Gimp" on Linux, because I don't like Windows and I don't own a Mac. (Student, did you remember?)

I believe we have a few members who use The Gimp, so there should be someone to help you out with that programme if necessary.
