Can anyone tell me what I can do to improve upon my images?

I took the picture of my girlfriend and extracted her onto a background, I feel one is better than the other, but i have not edited her face, just the background, i used the blend around the hair on the *Angel* picture, perhaps a bad move?

Curious to any help you can give.

Well, the first thing you need to do is kill the red eye.

Well, that isn't exactly red eye, but the reflection right in the middle of the iris gives here kind of an eerie look. I would offset the reflection some, maybe up and to one side.:)
