Hello, I am ready to frame a photo, and have noticed a couple of ball point pen lines, as if someone had a pen in their hand while carrying and accidently touched the photo with the pen, it is not a line that has been pushed on the photo..(hope it wasn't me), what can i use to remove these pen marks and not damage the photo.
thanks...

If you'll upload a good size jpeg (under 100K, but about 850 for largest dimension) we can give it a shot and offer some ideas.

If the print is on wet process photographic paper without a protective spray I would try lacquer thinner. Test on the edge to see if it is safe. I have used this to remove permanent marker and ball point pen marks from prints for years.
Good luck - remember to try on the corner first.
DO NOT USE LACQUER THINNER ON OLD POLAROID BLACK AND WHITE PRINTS.

freightrain, Nicholas Cole,
Welcome to RetouchPRO!!! :pleased:
freightrain,
before trying to physically remove the stains from the photo, I would do a good scan of it.
Shouldn't you get the desired result, you could always remove the spots digitally and reprint... :)
