If you love excellent photography of beautiful and/or fascinating birds/landscapes/animals, please do yourself a favor and take a long look at this young man's work.
His name is Ilia Shalamaev, and he was born in Uzbekistan. He now lives in Israel. He writes on his website that " Since I was young, I learned to enjoy and appreciate the wonderful and diverse landscapes and wildlife my country of origin had to offer. To further my understanding of the natural world, I chose to study biology at the University... My passion for Wildlife has led me to specialize in Birds - photography."
He may specialize in birds (which he has photographed with fantastic detail and artistry), but he also does impressive captures of star-trails and nighttime landscapes, luminous images of wild ibix, portrait sittings of praying mantids, and many other joyous visions that he shares -- including a BMW for the car lovers.
Hopefully, he will inspire someone to do work of similar excellence. I'll just be happy to look and enjoy.
