I'm new to this forum. I've also heard a lot of good things about how helpful this forum is too.

I am an aspiring photographer. I am also a graduate student too. So I don't have as much time to spend on retouching my images. Any suggestion how I can retouch images within a decent amount of time and with good quality.

I've looked through many tutorials but none of them seem to fit the style I am aiming for. I want a nice polish, almost magazine ready style.

Any suggest, it would help out a lot.

you'll have to supply a sample, not every magazine spends a lot of time going after a certain look....i used to work at a shop that did the scanning/corrections for Outside magazine and most of the "look" they were after was already in the shot....the corrections involved were minor for the most part...

The thing is, if you don't have time to make your own retouch, find someone who can. Freelancers rules! XD

Also, you can start a portifolio with aspiring retoucher too, so you can learn and grow together.

Any suggestion how I can retouch images within a decent amount of time and with good quality.A good rule of thumb: if you want a quick fix, go to Dunkin' Donuts.

The other rule of thumb, which (unlike the first) you'll see repeated often on this forum: great results start with great photography. So if you don't have time to master retouching, master your camera work.

First an example would be nice 2nd No matter what you have to learn how to do it or as mentioned freelance it out to someone
3rd once you have the basics down you could make or buy some actions for some if not all the work which would speed up repetitive jobs
