Near my home the wild grape vines are hanging full. The grape leaves have withered, and the grapes appear to be growing on an oak. I thought this might make a good fall painting.

Janet Petty 10-22-2007, 08:31 PM Photomaster, those look good enough to eat. Great interpretation. Janet sharynideas 10-23-2007, 04:11 AM I saved all your pictures. They are all wonderful. Palms-yours has a classic look to it that I tried but just couldn't achieve. Swampy-I hate to be stupid, but how can I learn more about texture maps? Lkroll-your pictures are always so different. The colors are so intense. Photomaster-I love the soft look and how you cropped to focus on the grapes. Janet, you're right the grapes look good enough to eat. I'll have to say I never tried wild grapes. Don't know if they're sweet or not. Shari Swampy 10-23-2007, 07:05 AM Shari >>>Swampy-I hate to be stupid, but how can I learn more about texture maps? Follow the Tutorial link in my signature. I have a tute on texture mapping. Swampy, I've tried to follow that link several times and it takes me to your homepage but when I click on the link for photoshop tutorials, it takes me to the following page http://home.earthlink.net/~lpswampy/neck%20of%20the%20woods/index.html and I can find no reference to the tutorials. What am I doing wrong?:depressed Shari Swampy 10-24-2007, 07:28 AM Shari, are you getting to this page? The whole right side of the screen contains a list of my tutorials. Texture mapping is highlighted in the screen shot below. jch71566 10-24-2007, 02:56 PM Nice picture. I really like PhotoMaster's interpretation. I don't remember what all I threw at this one. -Jeff GerryB 10-25-2007, 01:19 AM Wishing for cooler weather?! sharynideas 10-27-2007, 03:42 AM Shari, are you getting to this page? The whole right side of the screen contains a list of my tutorials. Texture mapping is highlighted in the screen shot below. Swampy, My stupidity again. The page doesn't open to full size on my computer and I scrolled down, but not to the right, because the whole patterned frame showed up and I thought I was seeing the whole thing. New problem though, I am still using dial-up (until January) and the video tuts just don't work right, so I guess I'll have to wait till I get Broadband to access your excellent tutorials:bawling: Thanks for your patience.
