As I was nosing about at Morgue file I found this one and had to have a go at it.
I hope you find it interesting enough to try it yourselves.

Been mind reading again peter ? was only thinking yesterday it was about time that you dug another of your great images out !:D

Used the same brush for both the art history and the history brush, then one with texture and one without

All I can say is WOW these are great.
Palms my fav is the sketch.

Experiment successful there, love it.

But that was 8 months ago I can't remember what I had for Dinner never mind back then!!!!!!

Definitely like the soft feel of your version Palms, and thanks for opening this thread again. Thought I would go illustration this time (using the Three Bar Sin gradient technique that I've been touting for a few weeks now). :)

AimeeBear--amazing. I'm looking through the various forums for the first time, and I particularly love this! As a mom of little ones, I appreciate the sweetness of the smudged look. Did you do this in Photoshop or Paint?
