No, it is not mandatory that you reside local to Oceanside, CA for this freelance work.

Requirements include:

-Masking skills (especially with hair/fur/feathers)
-Retouching capabilities
-Color correction aptitude
-Professional attitude in maintaining communication and responsiveness
-Desire to work with animal/pet photos – primarily dogs, cats, and birds

As I previously indicated, this will be regular ongoing work, and your skill can make this a lucrative and cost effective work from home situation.
