Personally, I retouch eyes by using a levels mask, but I'd be interested to know other ideas. I thought it was a little more intricate than that considering it was within the context of the eyes. leuallen 11-17-2007, 07:22 PM See Betty Davis Eyes in Eismann's 'Restoration and Retouching". Very Good Also, to remove red or any color cast in the eye whites, create a blank layer and set its blending mode to color. Use a soft white/black brush set to Hue and 10 to 20%. Brush the color away. This process removes color. Also good on yellow teeth. Use Dodge/Burn layer to remove veins in eyewhites and lighten if desired. Or clone/heal veins away. I use this on most portraits so I made an action that creates the set of required layers and places them in a group. Very quick to use and very good results. Larry |
