I have just taken up photography again after an absence of about 15 years. I previously used a Bronica 645 and done all my processing in a home darkroom. I have had some success in exhibitions and I like to photograph anything. I got the urge again and bought myself an EOS 5D and 24-105L lens. I will add another couple of lenses if I get right back into it, but at the moment this seems to be a great combination to get started. At the moment I am trying to get my head around Photoshop having previously been a Cibachrome addict. I'm sure I will pick up loads of tips and trick on this forum. Oh how things have changed.

I'm probably among the few around here who rember the original Mr. Magoo cartoon and that Jim Backus supplied the voice. I'm only ahead of you by a few years in terms of making the film to digital transition. Indeed things have changed in so many ways -- many of them good.
