This past weekend I watched an interesting news segment on Arthur Drooker and his infrared pictures of America's ruins (http://www.showbuzz.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/11/25/books/main3537931.shtml), and it got me wondering how I'd simulate the look in Photoshop from a color image. It started more as a mental exercise, but I know that there are already hundreds of techniques for this and probably dozens of software solutions.

So I thought I'd put a call out for your favorite b/w infrared simulation techniques/solutions/plugins. Oh, and post before/after examples, please.

RPM's Beautifier (http://www.redpawmedia.com/beautifier.html) and Fotomatix's (Cybia) PseudoIR (http://www.cybia.co.uk/pseudoir.htm) filters are my favorite filters for doing this Doug; both are free. :)
