The Retouching/Restoration contest is taking a break until January to let folks concentrate on all the fun chores and frivolity of the holiday season.

That sounds like a good idea to me -- how about you? We could let the winner of this month's competition choose the theme for the January 2008 competition, and we could use our cameras for holiday family/friend gatherings without worrying about making one for RetouchPro.

Post here if you have a strong opinion either way.

Sure, but my online "work" doesn't ease off any, in fact Christmas and the festive season are one of the busy times for the slimeballs who create Malware, lots of unsuspecting newbies with undefended machines to infect.

I'm doing some teaching work on that subject as well as moderating on a couple of forums also (not counting RetouchPro), so spare time and I are only on nodding terms at the moment.

I'm trying to ease back a bit, as I've been neglecting things over here lately, but it's difficult when you hear that someone's suffering with a screwed up computer and you can help, so the cases kind of keep stacking up.

However I've always got time for any "specials" if necessary.
