Patricia...........:pleased: Swampy 12-07-2007, 06:31 PM Nice, PK!!
I uploaded my watercolor brush in my Watercolor Tutorial thread. You can download it from there. Palms advises that it does not work in PS 7, but it should work in all higher versions. lkroll 12-07-2007, 10:01 PM Made this seamless tile and I have some other uses for it. :) patriciakay 12-08-2007, 03:10 PM Swampy....
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of your water color tute....must have a try at it and thanks for the brush!!!
Lyle.....
Seamless tiling works for me on the rose(or if you prefer cabbage???)
Thank you for your art work..
Patricia..........:wavey: Peter S 12-08-2007, 05:12 PM Patricia nice to see you active again. I hope the eyes are still performing okay, they seem to be.
Well posting flowers, you are risking the wrath of Mr Conway, though I think he secretly likes them.
Peter Here’s my smudge version with texture. Patricia thanks for the pictures love the smudge painting. Swampy love your watercolor, Ikoll like the seamless tile, Peter like your pictures. lkroll 12-08-2007, 08:37 PM Sorry; it is a flower. Really does look like flowering Cabbage. That's how kookie my brain can be. I read the title of your post and yet I didn't (don't believe it's dyslexia, but it is not paying attention to details; lol). Still a strange color for a rose. :) palms1 12-09-2007, 05:28 AM Sorry Patricia been a bit busy the last few days but i will be coming back to these lovely roses

Yet, 'twas not her beauty alone that won me
Oh no! 'Twas the the truth in her eye ever beaming
That made me love Mary, the Rose of Tralee."

Thanks Patricia, you always know how to make a person's day.
As for the song, it's an Irish song, but may have been written in the U.S.
Guess who is now playing with the Redfield plugin. Although I still have all those little "demo" signs everywhere in my images.

Palms
A lot of it is Paint Shop Pro Palms. With some sketching and layer blends, and Lucis thrown for some line detailing. Thats about what I remember. Sometimes I try a lot of things before I settle on what I like it to look like, but that's probably the main stuff used here.
Thanks.
Steve C. Peter S 12-14-2007, 06:23 PM My eye is amazing...have perfect vision in that one now
Patricia
Really glad to hear this. I've now had my other eye seen to as well, and its just fantastic what I can see now.
Nice Fractalius there, have you tried on people yet??
I used a pic from your link for this one, I can see why Lyle got the name wrong, lots of green roses, odd.
Ziaphra for a quick one thats great.
Palms your really getting to grips with textures now, the second one is very nice.
Steve you keep doing good stuff.
Peter Steve Conway 12-15-2007, 12:14 PM Appreciate it Peter...thanks.
Am attaching a couple of images done with frac..(still playing with the demo.)
Someone asked how it did with images of people, so I tried one to see.
Steve C. allieok 12-16-2007, 08:00 AM Such a beautiful image to begin with -- makes it difficult, if not impossible, to improve. In fact, I didn't improve it, but only made it look a little like a painting.
53372 allieok 12-16-2007, 07:43 PM I wanted to say, too, how impressed I am with everyone's enhancements... each one seems lovelier than the last. Patricia, Your smudge version really does look like porcelain. I rarely use the smudge tool, but I think I will start taking it more seriously. I love the redfields fractalius one, too... I am going to check that out. Seems like it would be a great tool. Janet Petty 12-16-2007, 10:59 PM Hi all...
