Patricia, how can you perfect perfection? Great photo. Hope you've got it framed somewhere.

Tried a different version, not necessarily a better one.

I remember doing this young lady before, I think I made her look older. I've not made that mistake again errr I hope.

Wow... She's really growing up. Nice pic to work with. Thanks for the opportunity to create, Patricia...

I used Impressionist plugin for the prep work and Painter for the rest of the transformation.

Just a bit of impressionist Natural Wild Cave Painting to give it some texture..

Peter....

Two nice ones from you....it doesnt matter if you make Therese look odler...she will know how she will look in years to come....I once did a pencil sketch from a photo when she ws 7 and she looked 15 when i finished it...

Gilbert....nicely done...Therese looks like she is glowing with health!!!

Palms....good mixed effects....looks real painterly!!!

Danny...That is so good....what a good idea to use impressionist as a base for painting...How the years have flown...she was 3 when i became her stepmother!!!

Granny.....Yours is lovely and soft....like the subtle colors!!!

Steve...No worries...YET...she hasnt seen them !!!!!

I love how everyone brought different visions to the same picture. I'm learning lots from this forum. Cheers!

Nicely done, Margaret. Painter has some awesome possibilities in the right hands (like yours).

This is one of those I just had to try again, this time trying to emulate something Danny has done in another thread, well that didn't work and I ended up with this.

Palms if you read this. it might make a good candidate for smudging, well I needed the practice anyway.
