Hi team.
New Dawn, New Day, First post.

I've been shooting for a few years now, but really just starting getting into this Photoshop stuff the ladder half of this year. I really have my eyes set on a commercial success in this industry, and understand that touchup is really esssential.

So, here is one of my first attempts at a glamour type touchup. I have attached both the original shot I took, plus the restored one.

I know that I can do more on it, but would like any feedback (positive and/or negative) regarding how well I may or may not be doing, if I am heading in the right direction, ect.

IF you're really bored, you can check out my site and see that this is generally not the type of stuff I concentrated on initially, but am looking to be a well rounded as possible. {Feedback on that material is also always welcome ;) }

All input is appreciated. You will hopefully be hearing more from me over the next little while.

Hope all is well.

Your edit looks OK, mr, but it is not really possible to judge in detail at that small size.

Wonderful job cleaning up the whispy tangled hair.

Hi Chris,

Welcome to the forums! Stick around and you will pick up a ton of great info here.

Your retouch is heading in the right direction. I hope you don't mind, but instead of making suggestions, all of which are merely my opinion and only meant to offer ideas, I took the liberty to play with your retouched version just a tad. I am uploading a side by side image for ease of comparison.

Beautiful model by the way. :bigthmb:

Warmest regards,
Damien

The picture is quite small and a larger version would be nice but overall I agree with Sistere. I would also retouch the mid section of her nose to make it thinner. Her lips could use slight reshaping and you could make the opening in her shirt more symetric. Symetry is beauty!

Thanks for the feedback so far - really appreciated.

Damien, Enkay, I will try to impliment some of your suggestions.

Thanks for the quick touchup.

I have also uploaded a larger version of the file, might be easier to see.

But once again, thanks to everyone.
