i think this is a fairly simple question and i am having a long term brain fart. I have been trying for a few days to take a rose and drag only the stem part to wrap around a letter. I hope there is an easier way then to recreate the whole path, but if not ill live. Thanks for your help!

Can you post what you got so far?

I don't really have anything but a rose i stole off of Doogle and the logo i want to attach it to. I am not particular to this rose or anything, its just an idea of the direction i am trying to go.

Are you trying to put the stem of the rose through the letter? In this case the "Q"?
Something like I did? If that is the case, this is how I did:
Created 3 layers: one for the rose, one for the text above the rose, and one for the text below the rose
On the text layer above the rose, I deleted the areas that I wanted the rose to show through.
That was it.

Katy, what you are trying to do might better be done in a vector drawing program like Illustrator. The alternative in Photoshop is to use the pen tool to draw the stem in as a path then colorize it.
