Hi, I am newly registered although have browsed the site a few times in the past. I have done a bit of amateur re-touch work on old photographs that form part of my family history website. I am into genealogy big time and sometimes these old photos just get the better of me, so I guess this site will perhaps be able to offer some pointers and assistance if I get stuck. I use Corel Paint Shop Pro XI, and can only dream of being masterful of Photoshop CS2 etc. I do have a copy but have not got around to exploring all its attributes yet.

Not to worry: there a few RetouchPRO members who are very good with Paint Shop Pro. May I suggest you title Paint Shop Pro related threads that you start something like, "Help with Paint Shop Pro: How do I..." or "Paintshop Pro - xxxx." This will attract the eyes of folks who are best equipped to assist.

Since you're familiar with Paint Shop Pro, making the leap to CS2 is definitely doable -- so don't hesitate to ask Photoshop questions. Many, many folks have successfully climbed the Photoshop ladder one rung at a time. :)
