Prepress Retoucher - 3rd Shift

RR Donnelley seeks experienced Retoucher. Hours are 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Monday - Friday. Some flexiblity to rotate with 1st shift every 6 weeks if wanted.

Extensive Photoshop expertise required: color correcting, retouching, cloning and manipulating digital images for print or Web publishing. Ensures images meet customer specifications and uses own judgement while troubleshooting problem. Perform related duties, special projects and/or other functions as required.

QUALIFICATIONS.
·Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark,and InDesign and ability to create and recognize needs for 5th, 6th and PMS colors is mandatory. ·Knowledge of RGB, CMYK, color modes, conversion, tone structure, memory colors, flesh tones, multi-tone files, moirés removal, sharpening techniques, image comping, layers, masking, color theory. Strong teamwork skills. Ability to make sound decisions with limited information.

I see they still have an opening in Torrance CA but the shift is from 10:00 pm until 6:30 am.... think not!
