Hello All,

I am restoring and colouring an old group 1950s California Grade 6 school photos. I've googled in vain to find the colour of the checked dresses but haven't been able to find any dresses that are similar.

Can someone please give me an idea or any link where i can find 1950s school clothes i've enclose an attachement photo.

any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much for your reply and the link it was much appreciated, some of the dresses matches that of the website address you gave me there are at least 20 children plus the teacher on the photo and they are all wearing different plaid dresses.

Wow thanks ever so much it's exactly what I was looking for I guess I've typed the wrong thing on google "checked school" dress instead of plaid dresses.

Thank you I certainly will beside I wouldn't mind some critic on the colourized photo as I am fairly new to colouring black and white photos.
