There is a whole series of these on my site.

Going for a primative look (well, it became primative after a lot of filter convolving; lol). :)

Man! I keep telling you SL, your stuff is too good to mess with.

Anxious to know if you tweaked the window to get the very even looking out-of-focus window panes. Looks too even to be just a long lens and large F-stop.

Sweetlight, a truly outstanding pix. I tried a watercolor experiment using photoshop with PaintEngine.

These all look great and it's too cool watching everyone tweak my images.
Steve, all I did was dust the window. I'll have to go into my original IPTC info and make sure but I can almost promise it was my 400mm at about 5.6. It was gray and rainy out. Trees outside window in the distance.

Here is the link to the set of that day.

Sweetlight - love this image, and the set. If Anna is partly responsible for your images, thanks to her and to you for sharing this.

Yeah a 400mm lens at 5.6 would do it! :) Not usually so evenly tho.

This series of shots certainly shows the feeling you have for that area.

Again may I say, I love this photo Sweetlight! You are very talented.
Everyone's images are wonderful, but Alcar I think your's is my favorite.

Thought I'd go for a sketch.

Every time I try something new on this image it seems to work. Being a great shot to begin with gives me a lot of help.

So here's another interpretation.

Yall are tearin' this one up, I love them all. If there are more in the set that you want to work tell me and I'll drop them. Actually any of the shots on my Flickr just tell me and I'll do it. I just don't wanna flood you with images and make it seem as if I am being piggish.

Wonderful pic, SL. As Steve said messing with it seems like a shame, BUT...

I couldn't resist a couple tries with the Impressionist plugin. Messing with "tile" effects.

Alcar: Your PE experiments are jaw dropping. Really.

This was done with 3 filters: Render Light, Gaussian Blur and Frosted Glass Distortion. I used Smart Objects so I could tweak the filters the way I wanted.

There's one in the set with a brown bottle with a fish on it. Post this one and I'll tell you an interesting story about that bottle.

I don't like rainy days, so on my watercolor version I changed the weather to sunny :-)

I used Gimp  on Linux

This picture is simple in all of its elements; and for that reason evokes a sense that one could look at it over and over for the sense of peace and stability it brings. Thank you for sharing it.

Kraellin, that really rocks. That one just blows me away for some reason. I think it'
s the smoothness of the bottles and the over all tonality but I love, love , love it. brother.
