I keep telling you SL, your stuff is too good to mess with. Anxious to know if you tweaked the window to get the very even looking out-of-focus window panes. Looks too even to be just a long lens and large F-stop. Steve C. Alcar 01-29-2008, 10:42 AM Sweetlight, a truly outstanding pix. I tried a watercolor experiment using photoshop with PaintEngine. Alan Sweetlight 01-29-2008, 11:10 AM These all look great and it's too cool watching everyone tweak my images. Steve, all I did was dust the window. I'll have to go into my original IPTC info and make sure but I can almost promise it was my 400mm at about 5.6. It was gray and rainy out. Trees outside window in the distance. Here is the link to the set of that day. http://www.flickr.com/photos/sweetlight/sets/72157594265996997/ c Swampy 01-29-2008, 11:34 AM Had to have a play with this great shot, Sweetlight! PST, texture map, color overlay. palms1 01-29-2008, 01:05 PM This photo is super, only had time for a quick go though ! ! Palms CJ Swartz 01-29-2008, 01:24 PM Sweetlight - love this image, and the set. If Anna is partly responsible for your images, thanks to her and to you for sharing this. This series of shots certainly shows the feeling you have for that area. Steve C. mikajomc 01-29-2008, 03:40 PM Again may I say, I love this photo Sweetlight! You are very talented. Everyone's images are wonderful, but Alcar I think your's is my favorite. Thought I'd go for a sketch. Steve Conway 01-29-2008, 04:10 PM Every time I try something new on this image it seems to work. Being a great shot to begin with gives me a lot of help. So here's another interpretation. Steve C. Peter S 01-29-2008, 04:12 PM Thanks for the great pics SL, Just had to try it. Though it may be time to clean those windows Peter dkcoats 01-29-2008, 04:29 PM Nifty shot, Sweetlight; thanks for letting us play with it. No end of possibilities... this one is a Painter X WC. Sweetlight 01-29-2008, 04:34 PM Yall are tearin' this one up, I love them all. If there are more in the set that you want to work tell me and I'll drop them. Actually any of the shots on my Flickr just tell me and I'll do it. I just don't wanna flood you with images and make it seem as if I am being piggish. c DannyRaphael 01-29-2008, 06:55 PM Wonderful pic, SL. As Steve said messing with it seems like a shame, BUT... I couldn't resist a couple tries with the Impressionist plugin. Messing with "tile" effects. ---------------- Alcar: Your PE experiments are jaw dropping. Really. ---------------- GerryB 01-29-2008, 08:00 PM This was done with 3 filters: Render Light, Gaussian Blur and Frosted Glass Distortion. I used Smart Objects so I could tweak the filters the way I wanted. Steve Conway 01-30-2008, 12:48 PM Yall are tearin' this one up, I love them all. I just don't wanna flood you with images and make it seem as if I am being piggish. c There's one in the set with a brown bottle with a fish on it. Post this one and I'll tell you an interesting story about that bottle. Steve C. palms1 01-30-2008, 12:53 PM There's one in the set with a brown bottle with a fish on it. Post this one and I'll tell you an interesting story about that bottle. Steve C. Can't wait i love story's ( well almost as much as painting photo's ) Palms barbara 01-30-2008, 05:38 PM I don't like rainy days, so on my watercolor version I changed the weather to sunny :-) I used Gimp  on Linux Janet Petty 01-31-2008, 10:04 AM This picture is simple in all of its elements; and for that reason evokes a sense that one could look at it over and over for the sense of peace and stability it brings. Thank you for sharing it. Janet alexmeta 01-31-2008, 07:15 PM Really this picture is very "provocative". Thank you Sweetlight. SnapArt, Impressionist kimlou 03-14-2008, 08:20 AM Fantastic shot Sweetlight. Thanks. Kraellin 03-20-2008, 11:10 PM a bit of this, a bit of that, but all in Paint Shop Pro. sylvia1065 03-23-2008, 05:27 PM Pretty picture!! A smudged one... Sylvia Sweetlight 04-04-2008, 06:53 PM Kraellin, that really rocks. That one just blows me away for some reason. I think it' s the smoothness of the bottles and the over all tonality but I love, love , love it. brother. Kraellin 04-07-2008, 04:20 PM sweetlight, well excellent! now, i just wish i knew what i did! :D |
