I apologize in advance for posting another noob questions thread, but, I'm in the process of choosing a tablet, and have questions for a change...

About the use: I do web design and will soon be taking a course on multimedia design. I need to be able to create graphics by drawing and so forth in Photoshop. I live, breath and depend on Photoshop.

What I need:

1. A tablet under $100
2. I'm physically disabled, have very limited hand use and cannot use a pen with buttons on the side, as I do not have the capability of pressing them. (I currently do everything with a mouse and use Windows Stickykeys A LOT)

What I've looked at:

Aiptek Slim 12.1 Inch USB Tablet $129 (A bit out of budget though)

Aiptek HyperPen 8000U PC Tablet 8x6 drawing area( HYPERPEN8000U ) $80

Wacom Bamboo Fun Small - Mouse, digitizer, stylus - 6 x 4 in - electromagnetic - wired - USB - black $95

Anything good here? Any recommendations?

I'm not sure if this would work with your disability, because it has buttons on the pen, but I never use the buttons, i just switch to the mouse when I need to click something else or right click.
but the wacom graphire3 4x6 tablet is good. I bought mine 2 years ago and it was 95$ i believe.
It's good, I like it, still use it plenty, and haven't had any problems with it.

if that's what you're asking then the answers yes. I do that with mine sometimes while drawing, it works.
if that's not what you meant then please explain, i use mine on a laptop so i should be able to figure out an answer for you.

A trackball is a mouse device that has a large ball that your manipulate with your index finger or thumb. Depending on the model they have a number of buttons on them which you can click with your other digits. Logitech, Kensington and some other manufacturers have different models. Internet search for Trackballs and you should find several models.
