Yes they are! I really want to know how this is done ;) For instance, look at the mouth...how is this done? And the shape of the chin....

I really want to learn this...

here how i would have done the chin

1)select the bottom half of face (below bottom lip)
2)copy it to new layer
3)use the skew or distort transform tool to scale in the bottom half of the chin
4)then clean up the edges of the copied chin
5)then select original image and use the healing and clone tool to remove the old chin
6)then use healing and clone tool to fix the distorted texture on the new chin

How did they do that background, I like it =) Never experimented with doing that before.

Any info?

Likely a circular gradient set to white->that brownish color. Set it on a different layer, mask, and voila! instant background.

Oh, you corrected the second link so now my post looks silly! (but it seems I cannot edit it anymore)

basically it can be easily reproduced with the standard tools: curves, curves, curves, dodge&burn (pwl) and manual coloring - the operator made the image to black and white and colored it with his own likes of color. then he pitched it with curves, till the colors started to bleed....and ya the background is kinda plain photoshopgradient - but suprisingly, it suits the picture

(and the transformation is either - as mentioned above - done with transforming [warp] or with the liquify filter)

The Website has dead links & is unfinished.. so how did Angeleyes get access to those pics?

Not saying it is self-promo... just that its suspicious.

OK, but that sortta depends on what the client wanted.
With this talk of angels and fairies, maybe it wasn't supposed to look human. :bigthmb:
