Hello eveyone!
I just wanted to announce to everyone here that I just released the first issue of a new online pdf magazine, PhotographyBB Online.
There are some great articles inside about photography, tips and techniques on F-stops, a big tutorial on curves and contrast, and some other goodies too. Please feel free to check it out and download it. I'd love to hear feedback from you too!

I noticed the total absence of advertising. Bravo!

http://www.photographybb.com PhotographyBB 02-16-2008, 06:40 PM Hello!
Thank you very much for the comments Frank. I know the content is largely targeted towards beginners and intermediate levels of photographers and retouchers, however, there are also some good articles for everyone, like the spotlight and "photography around the world."
I hope to make next issue a little "thicker" (more pages). Thanks for the comment about the advertising. I may have to put small ads sometime in the future if this turns into a full time thing for me, but regardless of that, I am ALL about good content and that is something that will never ever change.
Thanks for checking it out Frank!

Like you said, "something for everyone"

Bob Mc plugsnpixels 02-23-2008, 02:25 AM Hi Dave,
Welcome to the world of ezine publishing! You've got a nice looking mag full of good content. I was curious about what you're using to lay it out (InDesign, etc.).
I've been offering free ezines since 2001, focusing on the tools of the trade (plug-ins, standalone apps) more strongly than techniques, though occasional tutorials for the same are included. Your practical info for all skill levels should be warmly received by the photo community. grimby 02-23-2008, 11:11 AM Well done Dave... a good, informative first issue. PhotographyBB 02-27-2008, 06:52 PM Thanks for the comments plugsnpixels and grimby!
I am using Indesign CS, on a PC (Sorry!) However, I just got CS3 for the Mac, and I'll be making the transition for the April issue. I've seen your ezines (plugsnpixels) and I have enjoyed them too. I always love to find cool and interesting plug-ins/add ons! Great stuff too!
Thank you all for your kind comments.
Dave

PhotographyBB.com Joeven 05-28-2008, 12:58 AM Hey Dave I just finished reading your latest issue. Great job by you and your staff. I downloaded the PDF's for the out of bounds Photoshop tutorial. Any chance your Photoshop guru plans on doing a tutorial using LucisArt in the future? Looking forward to the next issue.
Joe plugsnpixels 05-30-2008, 10:20 PM Joe, I plan on adding LucisArt Pro (http://www.plugsandpixels.com/lucisartpro.html) tutorials and a dedicated gallery on my site as the new version becomes available later this summer. Its greatly increased capabilities will be a lot of fun! DannyRaphael 06-04-2008, 10:26 PM Supurb resource. One of the BEST I've seen in a long, LONG, time.
Belated congrats to you, Dave, and your editorial team. Continued success.
