Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and just wanted to say hi. I'm a retoucher at a photography studio in Melbourne, Australia. I've been working my way through the forum in the last day or so and am liking what I see so far, great resource to have.

Here's a link to my work, check it out, happy to hear some feedback:

A belated "G'Day mate."

I am a bit behind and just had an opportunity to check out your website.

In a word you do some brilliant work. Especially liked cat-in-a-blender and jockey-on-a-hobby-horse works.

We are honored to have someone with your talent and experience join us.

nice work indeed, but i don't understand why everyone is doing web pages that scroll horizontally...

i think its because thats how most people read (some countries read differently)
but i know for myself it feel unnatural for me to look at images by scrolling vertically.

and hey FoxLightbulb im from Aus to.
your work looks good

G'day right back at ya mate ;)

Wow, some really gorgeous manips you've done there (familiar ones too- now I know where they came from hehe) I look forward to seeing more of your work. BTW what is the story behind the Red Simons images towards the end?

Hey There,

Thanks for all the great comments, it's always good to get positive feedback on your work, especially from your peers!

The story behind the Red Symons images is that he does advertising work for Thrifty Link hardware and each year they put out a calendar. That particular year our studio was chosen to shoot and retouch all twelve shots. Each page was to take off other calendars, the images shown represent a Van Gogh style, an Anne Geddes and a cheesy chick's 'n' cars calendar.
