Total newbie here! Nice to meet you all :D... I have one photo (taken with a digital camera) that is very important to me and holds many sweet memories. Unfortunately it's blurred badly, and I don't have a clue as to what to do with it... I have Image Analyzer on the computer, but I still have yet to make more sense of this program... any helping hands (and/or minds) available? Please... with a cherry on top :)

it would be better to post the image as every image has different approaches

What "dataflow" said, "Post image" (See below, how to attach image to your post )..

Or you might check out Focus Magic (http://www.focusmagic.com/)

the smart sharpen filter in cs3 is supposed to fix blurring to a certain extent but i didn't have much luck with it:

You might download the trial version of "Focus Magic" (http://www.focusmagic.com/) and see if it helps
(OOPS!! already said that!)

I do not have Focus magic but I tried different methods and this is the best I could do.

For a slightly larger version (click here) (http://img145.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=25739_Snapshot_3_copy_122_892lo.jpg)

The blur in this is pretty shocking, I'd do an auto levels first, then a high pass filter in overlay mode, then do a copy merged to new layer and then a final auto levels

Fairie, I am using photoshop CS2, but should be accessible with earlier versions, it is still a bad photo no matter what, did try and see if a motion blur could reverse some of it
but no

Faerie, If you have Photoshop CS3, Open your photo in Camera Raw. Make changes in exposure, brightness, contrast, clarity and vibrance. Then go to the Details tab, and under sharpening make changes. Then open the photo in Photoshop. Duplicate the photo and go to Filters>other>high pass sharpening. Apply a high amount of sharpening.Click OK and change the blend mode to Overlay. Make the original layer active and once again go to Filters>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask. Apply high amounts to Amount and Radius and a Threshold Value of about 4.
